Odyssey says it has placed a fruit-fly brain inside Odyssey-3, its world model, and demonstrated it flying autonomously through imagined, simulated worlds. The lab shared the video on October 17.

The demonstration pairs a brain-based controller with a generated environment: the fly moves through worlds produced by the model. It points to a use for world models as environments for autonomous systems, beyond generating video for people to watch.
